# Data deletion

Canonical page: https://mitchi.app/data-deletion

Disconnect services or request deletion of Mitchi connection and account data. Learn what remains in your workspace or provider.

## Delete connection data

## Google Ads and Meta Ads

In Mitchi, open Apps, choose the connected advertising account, select Manage, then Remove connection. This deletes that connection's hosted authorization credentials, account metadata and submission receipts, along with its local connection and local campaign drafts.

## Canva connection

In the [browser library](https://mitchi.app/canva), choose Disconnect Canva and confirm to revoke the web connection. Open a saved import, select Remove import and confirm to delete its encrypted PDF snapshot and metadata. Disconnecting alone keeps saved imports. These actions leave originals in Canva unchanged.

For the separate Mac connection, open Import from Canva in Campaign Canvas or Template Studio and select Disconnect. This revokes Canva authorization and removes the hosted connection credentials. Designs already imported into Mitchi remain until you delete them separately. If you cannot open Mitchi, contact [Mitchi support](mailto:work@zadlab.com) with your Mitchi account email and explain that the request concerns Canva. Do not send passwords or tokens.

## Social publishing

In Mitchi, open Apps → Social accounts, choose the connected account, then select Disconnect account. This removes the channel from the connected-account list and requests removal of its scheduled posts. Published posts remain on the social platform. Disconnection does not erase all stored social connection and publishing records.

To request deletion of social connection or publishing data, email [Mitchi support](mailto:work@zadlab.com) with your Mitchi account email, provider and social handle. We may verify that you control the account before acting. Do not send passwords or tokens. Deleting your Mitchi account is a separate request.

## Revoke advertising access at the provider

Use [Google Account connections](https://myaccount.google.com/connections) or [Facebook Business Integrations](https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools) to revoke Mitchi's access. When Meta sends a valid signed deauthorization or data-deletion request to the advertising connection service, we remove the matching hosted Meta Ads connections. This advertising callback does not process social publishing data; use the social deletion instructions above for that request.

## If you no longer have Mitchi

Email [Mitchi support](mailto:work@zadlab.com) with the provider and ad account identifier. Never email passwords or access tokens. We may need to verify control of the account before deleting its connection.

Existing campaigns on Google or Meta keep their current status. To stop or delete an ad, use that provider's Ads Manager. Locally saved designs are unaffected by deleting hosted connection data.
